The Real America

Recently a couple of Republicans, one high profile and one that is now high profile, have said some pretty amazing things.  It boils down to there are "pockets of 'real America'" and "liberals hate real Americans."

Congressman, and doofus, Robin Hayes of North Carolina said that, "liberals hate real Americans that work and accomplish and achieve and believe in God."  He said, after being caught lying about not saying the above, "I genuinely did not recall making the statement and, after reading it, there is no doubt that it came out completely the wrong way. I actually was trying to work to keep the crowd as respectful as possible."

And then ol' Sarah Palin said that there were "pockets of Real America."  She was pointing them at small towns being those pockets.  I guess the 3000 people who died on 9-11 in New York City, and those who died at the Pentagon (in Washington, D.C.) weren't part of "real America?"

First to the Governor of Alaska.  Real America?  I've got news for you Governor MILF, those who live in small towns, villages, bergs, hamlets, and in the country are certainly Real Americans.  Those who live in mid-sized cities, big cities, and metropolis's are Real Americans as well.  It's hard to believe that McCain won't give Palin the boot off the "Straight Talk Depressed" before Election Day.  Is he serious about this candidate?

And for Mr. Hayes.  Go fuck yourself.  It came out the wrong way?  Then please, tell us, what is the RIGHT way for that to come out?

Relax, it's just red meat for the base. Same as what you hear at lib rallies when they bash Republicans and talk about how conservatives are racists and homophobes and whatnot.
It's just one of those things that aren't meant for general audiences. It's like a comedian who works blue in his HBO specials but tones it down for a TV special.
